Description: A glossy vibrant royal blue glaze is used to cover this candlestick.The colour is darker on the indented parts of the "dumbell" design and ligher where there are any ridges. The colour ranges from dark to almost a white/blue.

Description: Inspired by prehistoric cave paintings  found at Lascaux in France. One side shows the relief image of a bull whilst the other is a horse. Mottled brown and beige background with "fat lava" that is rough and scratchy to touch.

Description: An enormous example of the ribbed vase. The ribs are covered in a dark chocolate brown shiny glaze. The lower bulb is covered in a contemporary bright grass green with stylised red and yellow flowers that are outlined in a rough  black "lava" glaze. An outstanding example in this series. It will certainly get noticed!

Description: A rich, creamy glaze with toffee coloured speckles, covers the top part of the ribbed bulb vase. This appears to drip over onto a deep brown base.The interior is covered in a glossy toffee coloured glaze.

Description: A ribbed bulb vase in two complimentary colours. The top part is covered in a rich creamy matt glaze, whilst the lower bulb is covered in a dark luscious chocolate brown matt glaze . The "bulb" part is decorated with stylised flower patterns in the same rich creamy matt glaze. The ribs have have fine light brown lines around them.

Description: A stunningly, huge floor vase covered in a mottled mixture of colours. This design known as "Flame" is dripping with bright tangerine zig zag style "flames". It makes a bold bright statement. A beautifully proportioned large floor vase.The base colour of the vase is covered in a metallic bronze /pewter type glaze that appears to have a duck egg blue and brown glossy "dribbles" and zig zags. With Scheurich Europ Linie label.

Description: A beautifully textured vase with what appears to be hand painted yellow patterns. The clay looks as though it has been cut out where the yellow diamonds and circles have been painted. The matt rough cast black "lava" glaze contrasts with the shiny yellow glaze.

Description: This tall bottle vase with rectangular sides has a sharp, matt bright blue backgroud glaze to either of the two narrow sides with matt brown "lava" zig zags vertically crossing over it.The larger two faces are covered in a matt cream glaze that have brown matt horizontal zig zags accross them. These feel rough and are textured.

Description: This short bottle vase has  two rectangular sides with a sharp blue backgroud glaze that has brown "lava" zig zags that are painted vertically. The larger of the two faces are covered in a cream glaze that has brown zigg zags that are painted horizontally.

Description: The bulbous body is covered in smooth matt glazes that are sand-like, grey and pale brown. This veined velvety surface reveals large areas with grey streaked almost slate-like glossy glaze. The dark brown around the lip on the handle and the base create an interesting contrast. The lava-like dribbles near the base contrast well to the glossy base.

Description: The glazes enhance the elegance of this pitcher. The background glaze is a rich dark brown/black that is almost slate-like. This has a metallic appearance. This predominates and appears to be covered in a mixture of speckled glazes of toffee and gold colours.The dark red lines sweep from the neck around the bulbous body in short a swirling movement.

Description: The rectangular base is covered in a rich mottled variety of chocolate coloured matt glazes with some grey and black smudges.They blend randomly.The edges of the wandplatte are glossy. The "mushrooms" in contrast are deep glossy vibrant tangerine, orange and red that are edged in beige and brown.The "mushrooms" are glossy but feel rough to touch.

Description: The rectangular base is covered in a rich mottled variety of chocolate coloured matt glazes with grey and black smudges. They appear to be blended with brush strokes.The edges of the wandeplatte are glossy whilst the background is gloss. The "mushrooms", in contrast are brightly coloured tangerine and yellow with speckles  and drips of brown and red.

Description: A masterpiece in glazing! Sumptuous pale pinks, salmon, off white, blue /greys and grey blend together to create  beautiful marble effects .The surface appears soft and velvet-like in the grey and pinkish areas, whilst it shimmers like satin in the white veins. A beautiful example of this style of glazing.

Description: A small bulbous vase with irridescent beauty.The exterior glaze has a background colour of a rich grassy green that is covered with a grey metallic glaze that swirls and drips around the vase. In places the metallic glaze is a glossy pewter whist in other places it is a matt pewter colour. Perfection comes in this small vase!

Description: Tall and elegant with a deep dark  black glossy interior.The exterior has a background of a rich turquoise/green matt glaze that looks as though it has been covered in a pumice -like "fat lava"glaze.This appears to have been carved away to show the green underneath. A truly tactile piece of work.

Description: A lovely exmple of a moulded vase. A beautifully rotund body sits on a solid base that is reflected in the neck of the vase.A chunky handle is attached to the top part of the vase.The matt grey glaze is darker on the raised parts of the design which is in stark  contrast to the pale ghost-like matt body. A lovely partner to the other Bay vase for sale.

Description: A wonderfully huge piece of pottery! The grey rough textured "fat lava" contrasts perfectly with the vast, bold, orange, red and golden lily type flower  that appears to be floating in the "lava"! Heavy, solid, simply stunning!!

Description: A glowing example of the presentation of two beautiful horses.Their movement is accentuated by the colours used. A copper/ bronze glaze is used for the background. It appears to change colour in different lights.The horses contrast with the use of brilliant red and oranges, blues and turquoises.Their bodies highlighted by a light golden glow .

Matt glazes blend luxuriously into one another on this very sophisticated pitcher.The base colour appears to like a gun metal that is covered  in pink, mocha and dark grey glazes splodges and drips.

Description: Brilliant turquoise strikes you.The colour is darker at the top. As it reaches the hip of the vase the colour gets paler. The interior is a dark glossy brown. The lower part of the vase is impressed in an archaic pattern with goldish yellow glaze.A sold handle sits on the hip of the vase. Amazing colours.

Condition: no chips or cracks- what appears to be blue glaze on the base of the vase. See third photograph.

Description: A solid vase with a brilliant blue glaze.This base glaze is slightly textured and varies in depth of colour.The moulded/impressed   circle-line design is rough to touch and is a rusty / light blue colour. In two areas the brilliant blue glaze is not as dark as the overall colouring.It appears to have been "brushed" off, possibly during the glazing process?There are two sides only that have the raised design, the other two are blue.The interior is coated in a dark bluish/black glossy glaze.

Condition: as mentioned above, two glaze faults, can be seen in the first two photographs.The underside of the lip has a rough patch that could be a chip approximately 0.5 c.m. accross it appears to be dark in colour.

Description: A glossy small vase that is covered in an impressed moulded star/flower -like design. The background colour is a tangeriney, reddish orange that has almost a black to highlight the impressed design. The neck of the vase is black, the lip has a tangerine pattern and the interior is coated in a dark glossy blue glaze. A truely stunning little vase.

Description: This  bright blue handled vase stands "out in a crowd". The upper part blends exotically into an erruption of mangled colours. "Fat lava" bursts through the mixture of white, bright blue and black glazes causing crusty "lava" and smooth blending effects. In parts, the glazes look like rivers flowing from space!! A stunning example of this type of glazing.

Description: This handled vase really makes a bold statement.Brilliant turquoise mixes effortlessly with patches of golden yellow glaze. These glossy glazes are divided by thick lines of dark blue/black "fat lava". In total contrast the lower part of the vase  is a deep dark matt black.

Condition: One small chip in the glaze near the foot of the vase. Cannot be seen when on display.

Description: This unusual "double" vase is covered in a base coat of a speckled light brown "biscuit" coloured glaze. The two seedpod-like bowls are joined to each other by a hollow            "U"-shaped base.The base has an "overcoat" of dribbled glossy darker glaze.The "seedpods" are covered in a rich royal blue and speckled light brown metallc style glaze.

Condition: no chips or cracks- the interior looks worn possibly a water mark?

Description: A small vase that makes a big statement! The interior is covered in a light mottled green glaze.The exterior, in contrast is lavishly decorated. The high gloss guilding around the unusually shaped lip blends into the varying "duck egg" green body. This is then covered in rough diamond shapes in a drizzled/blotchy speckled brown. The lower part of the vase is coated in a thicker blotchy brown that is finished off with a gold band. Note the indented shape to the vase.
