Description: A stunning vase with what appears to be a carved detail. The interior of the vase is a glossy speckled grey. The "lava" glaze appears to have been carved away to create intricate ovals, stars and crosses. A beautiful example of this type of work. A delicate piece.

Condition: One hairline crack in the red glaze on the neck and one hairline crack where the two glazes meet on the neck. These are barely noticable but this is represented in the price. See third photograph.

Condition: as mentioned above, two glaze faults, can be seen in the first two photographs.The underside of the lip has a rough patch that could be a chip approximately 0.5 c.m. accross it appears to be dark in colour.

The lower part of the vase is coated in a thicker blotchy brown that is finished off with a gold band. Note the indented shape to the vase.
